Service Description
๐ 2-hour class Includes all materials, tools, and guided instruction on wheels. Youโll create one (or more!) ceramic pieces with the support of our experienced instructors. The class includes firing & glazing one piece for free, additional pieces for firing will be billed at the $15 per piece. ๐จ Glazing Options For best outcome, we do not recommend same-day painting. You can choose from the following: - Choose from our house glaze selection โ we'll glaze and fire your piece for you (included) - Return the following week to paint your own piece โ $15 per piece Pieces are typically ready for pickup in 2 weeks. Cancellation Policy
Wheel Throwing Group Experience Class Policy Booking & Reservations By booking a class, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this policy. Please email dustycoceramic@gmail.com for cancellation & reschedule. Class Structure The experience includes the firing and glazing of one (1) piece. Additional pieces made on-site can be fired at $15 per piece. You can either chose from house glaze, or come back to paint your own piece at $15 each. The total class duration is 2 hours, which includes instructional time, hands-on practice, and a 15-minute cleanup and wrap-up period. A trained instructor will guide the session, providing demonstrations and individual assistance. No prior pottery experience is required. Dusty & Co. will provide all necessary materials, tools, and aprons. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. The minimum age requirement for participation is 16 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must follow all safety guidelines as instructed by Dusty & Co. staff. Respectful behavior is expected at all times. Any disruptive participants may be asked to leave without a refund. Dusty & Co. reserves the right to remove participants who violate safety rules or studio policies. Food & Beverage Policy: Eating or drinking around the working area is not recommended to maintain cleanliness and safety. You can bring food/snacks/drink and stay around the community event area. Liability & Acknowledgment: By participating in the Clay Escape Weekend Experience, all participants acknowledge and accept any inherent risks associated with pottery-making. Dusty & Co. is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the Pickup available around 2-3 weeks. We will send reminders. Pieces will be discarded if not picked up in 2 months. Due to the nature of ceramics, all pieces are subject to potential cracks, warping, or damage during the firing process. These occurrences are natural and may happen despite best practices. If your piece is damaged or you are not satisfied with the final result, you are welcome to choose a replacement from a selection of staff-made items as a courtesy.
